Self-limiting Sovereignty: God is in complete control of the universe, has allowed areas of opposition to his control for a time but will work out his purposes along the way and in the end. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,” Romans 8:28

Naturalism: The universe and all that’s in it came about on its own. There is no divine being. Life, death, suffering, pain and pleasure are just parts of existence as each person seeks survival and meaning. No life after death. Absolute Sovereignty: A good, loving, holy, all powerful, perfect God created the universe and all that’s in it. The universe and life operates according to natural and moral law. God ‘micromanages’ every detail in the universe. Even though a person may think a choice was made in free will it has been preordained by God. Heaven and hell after death as predestined for each person by God. Self-limiting Sovereignty: A good, loving, holy, all powerful, perfect God created the universe and all that’s in it. The universe and life operates according to natural and moral law. Although God shepherds life according to and toward His desired ends, humans have inviolable free will. Satan opposes God and has limited reign in affairs of the world. A person’s free will choice in this life will determine their destiny in the next life. Pantheism: The universe and all that’s in it is part of God. Evil, pain and suffering results from humans not being conscious that they are ‘God.’ Reincarnation, suffering for past life wrongs until realization of divinity.
