2 22% of all students under 21 compared to 18% over 21 years of age are heavy drinkers. STATISTIC: THIS WOULD NEVER BE A REASON!

3 Research from the 1980s until the present has shown a continuous decrease in drinking and driving related incidents and per capita consumption involving this age group. FACT: THIS WOULD NEVER BE A REASON!

4 Jill Hester admitted she wanted to drink when she was under 21, and after she turned 21, the desire to drink lessened. EXAMPLE: THIS WOULD NEVER BE A REASON!

5 Ruth Engs, a professor who has studied underage drinking for over 20 years, thinks responsible drinking could be taught through role modeling and educational programs. EXPERT OPINION: THIS WOULD NEVER BE A REASON!
