Informational Items Processing of Seasonal Ozone Modeling contract on hold until NOAA funding issue resolved TC may recommend termination of one CCOS contract TC feels US EPA should include California specific items in their research agenda. This would require future fundraising (CCOS earmarks for EPA) There are sufficient funds to complete current CCOS projects. However, TC remains willing and enthusiastic to carry CCOS process further depending on availability of future funding.

CCOS Modeling Update Of the three CCOS episodes, July-August 2000 is only modeled episode currently available for SIPs Of several modeling efforts, only ARB modeling results for that episode satisfy EPA requirements Modeling of September 2000 episode by Alpine Geophysics (03-01CCOS) unsuccessful so far Modeling of June 2000 episode not currently active ARB modeling of non-CCOS July 1999 episode shows promise, but it’s unclear if acceptable modeling will be available in time for current SIP development
