Ezekiel made an equally startling prediction about the city state of Tyre (in modern day Lebanon). He prophesied that… Many nations would come against Tyre (Ezekial 26:2). Nebuchadnezzar would destroy the city (Ezekial 26:4). The city would be scraped bare (Ezekial 26:4). Fishing nets would be spread over the site (Ezekial 26:5). The stones of the city would be thrown into the sea (Ezekial 26:12). The city would never be rebuilt (Ezekial 26:14).
