Well done – now the work starts! The following slides are intended to help you: What did we apply for? What documentation is available to help us? Reporting Your website Dissemination Final tips
3
It may be some time since you bid for this, so read with care: - Your application - Your workplan - Your budget tables - Any other documentation relating to your bid
4
Ensure everyone reads everything – give deadline and request queries Start planning for year – roles, responsibilities, timelines Before you do, however, check documentation available…..
5
See website for Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA): www.eacea.ec.europa.eu/index.htm www.eacea.ec.europa.eu/index.htm Project Handbook and report forms for the Lifelong Learning Programme available on the web site: (see http://eacea.ec.europa.eu/llp/projects/repo rting/index_en.htm) http://eacea.ec.europa.eu/llp/projects/repo rting/index_en.htm (public and confidential part as well as financial reporting table) See also the Socrates Survival Kit: useful documents to help you plan
6
Check now what is expected for Progress Report which will be due at end of first year – but check website regularly for updates Two parts: - Public part which may go on the EU website - Confidential report, including changes, problems, etc + time sheets and financial reporting tables - Use time sheets and financial spreadsheet from outset Plan a timeline so you meet deadline
7
This is compulsory! This takes longer than you think: - Find your web developer - Allow time for purchase of domain name - Use your own photos so no copyright issues - Get permission from people in photos - You have to display the EU logo and disclaimer but easy to download from website
8
Think about this from very beginning – it features in the Progress Report Adopt a systematic approach: audience, medium, even ‘spread’ across partner countries Start with a launch of some kind If you have seminars or conferences as part of your plan, start thinking and planning early
9
Be as organised as you can: set up filing systems at the beginning, including electronic Work out what expenses are eligible at the start and keep every receipt Keep a detailed record of all time spent and get in from partners at regular intervals If things deviate from workplan, put ‘catch up’ strategies in place asap Involve all relevant expertise at university Enjoy!
