TECHNOLOGY Effecively actuated collisions if particles – a new kind of micronization technology. Enables significant reduction of particles size and enlarged and und mesoporous surface of particles. Treated material obtains a higher reactivity, energetic charge and better solvability – resulting in an upgraded bio-efficiency.
3
CALCITE CHEMICAL COMPOSITION*: -CaCO 3 :~94.40% -MgCO 3 : ~ 2,56% -SiO2: ~ 1,75% -Al 2 O 3 : ~ 0,43% -Na 2 O ~ 0,23% -Fe 2 O 3 ~ 0,19% -K 2 O ~ 0,10% MICROELEMENTS*: Mn: ~ 40 mg/kg Zn: ~ 45 mg/kg Cu: ~ 13,2 mg/kg Mo: ~ 0,04 mg/kg Sedimented mineral (fossilized algae) Croatia and Bosnia are rich in sedimented calcite sources *may vary, as MC consists only of natural products, which are subject to fluctuations.
4
MICRONISED CALCITE Original calcite, 25-times enlarged Micronized calcite 250-times enlarged – reduced particles size and enlarged mesoporouse surface
5
EFFECTS OF MC? The leaves’ surfaces cuticular and stomata absorb the water-dissolved MC directly and cause a better metabolism. Nutrients (Ca 2+, HCO 3-, Mg 2+, microelements, etc.) reach the cells inside the leaves when MC enters cuticular and stomata - they diffuse. Application is followed marked increase in cellular calcium levels
6
PHYSIOLOGICAL EFFECTS OF MC Enlargens chloroplasts, unleashs increase of activity in photosynthesis and absorption of CO 2 Raise of polyphenols Increment of protein-synthesis (higher metabolic activity) polphenol chloroplasts Control grapevine leaf (40-times enlarged) MC-treated grapevine leaf (40-times enlarged)
7
GROWTH Enhancement of growth speed (higher metabolic activity) Reduction of vegetative cycles‘ period Improvement of fruit quality (efficient transportation of nutrients) Elevation of gain of fruit
8
RESISTANCE Improved resistence against physiological stress – hydro-stress Antioxidant and water-obtaining activities of MC Revised resistence against diseases and pests Treated grapevine leaf (profie, 20-times enlarged) Conrtol grapevine leaf (profile, 20-times enlarged) Wax
9
QUALITY Increase of fruit’s dry substance - causing better proficiency in transportation and storage Gain of botanical secondary metabolites (flavonoids, tannins, lignin, fatty acids) Enhancement of healthy nutrient content (vitamins, minerals, antioxidants)
10
APPLICATION* MC-concentration of water should be between 0.3% and 0.5% Depending on type of culture, MC should be sprayed 2-3 times per vegetation. MC shall not be used within heavy insolation. *Considering individual times of application per vegetation, depending on type of plant
