 Teacher: Cindy, why are you doing your math multiplication on the floor? Cindy: You told me to do it without using tables!

 You are responsible for having all supplies at school everyday.  This includes your ◦ Agenda ◦ Pencil Pouch- pencils/grading pen/highlighters/colored pencils/whiteboard markers ◦ Homework ◦ Silent Reading Book ◦ Accordion Folder or 3-subject notebook

 You have time in between class periods – Use it!  Students may not go to the restroom while your teacher is teaching.  If you do need to use the restroom during class, you need to have your restroom pass signed by your teacher and sign out in the book.  Upon returning to the classroom sign back in.  Only one student may use the restroom at a time.

 A second grader came home from school and said to her mother, “Mom, guess what! We learned how to make babies today” The mother, more than a little surprised, tried to keep her cool. “That’s interesting,” she said. “How do you make babies?” It’s simple, replied the girl. “You just change y to i and add es.”

Students can not get up to get a drink, get supplies, etc…while your teacher is busy teaching. Students may have a water bottle at their desk. These can only contain water. Wait until individual work time to leave your seat. You may have a healthy snack the first 10 minutes of class

oCollect all materials and put them in the proper areas. oGet your agenda out on your desk. oFill out your homework and reminders. oDouble check that you have all of your homework and “things” you need for the night! oClean up your area. oDO NOT LINE UP AT THE DOOR! oWait for your teacher to release you!

 You should leave the classroom the same way you found it or better.  If you see something on the ground in your classroom, hallway, courtyard, etc… PICK IT UP!  Use the recycle basket whenever possible.

 The difference between men and women: A man is driving up a steep, narrow mountain road. A woman is driving down the same road. As they pass each other, the woman leans out the window and yells, "PIG!"  The man immediately leans out his window and replies, "Stupid!" They each continue on their way, and as the man rounds the next corner he slams into a pig in the middle of the road.

o FIRST see a friend for additional information about what you missed and check the website. o Copy necessary information into your agenda. o See your teacher if you have questions.
