6 Mentor’s Role  Supporting students on community practice.  Liaising with allocated tutor re. any problems.  Supported through training session, support pack and visit if necessary.

7 Application Process  Introductory Session – Mid October  Application Forms – Preference Process  Application Deadline – Early November  Interviews – November & December  Start of Course - February

8 Student & Mentor Evaluation  Student “very valuable experience and a good introduction to social work.”  Mentor “a very positive experience”
