Plans for course... Topic: The Endocrine System Lectures: The objective is to provide the students with a good foundation of the system. Problem Based Learning Sessions: Case I: “Andy’s Giant Problem” Acromegaly, from a somatotrophic pituitary adenoma Histology Lab Case II: Grave’s Disease Grave’s patient Case III: Diabetes Melitus Simulation Lab and soda lab Topic: The Endocrine System Lectures: The objective is to provide the students with a good foundation of the system. What do you get in return? If you meet the honors requirements below, you will obtain an honors letter written by Dean Davis to be placed in your file Honors Requirements complete 1 of the following Attend training, teach a session, help with the college fair or a fundraising event, and act as a mentor throughout the year Attend training, facilitate 3 sessions, help with the college fair or a fundraising event, and act as a mentor throughout the year All leadership positions will get an honor ’ s letter Play an integral role in college fair and act as a mentor throughout the year
