1. Complete page 1 of IRS Form 8850, Pre- Screening Notice and Certificate Request by the date of the job offer 2. Complete a Dept. of Labor form ETA 9061 if the new hire has not been given an ETA9062 by Vocational Rehab or a participating agency 3. Mail the signed and dated IRS and ETA forms to the respective state workforce agency no later than 28 days after the new hire begins work.

VR&E will pay a percentage of the veterans salary until they reach journeyman level. VR&E will also pay for any necessary tools.
