Sessions Formats Panel Discussions Workshops Themed Poster Sessions (“poster panels”) – poster boards, tacks will be available.

Logistics 90 minutes Use “best practices” (engage audience; active information transfer; minimize lecturing) Coordinate effort with other participants Tables for small groups Flip Board Wireless available Moderators for panels but not workshops Data projector but no computer (bring laptop/connectors) Not encouraged for panel discussions

Ways to Encourage Community Activity Subscribe to the working group in which your session has been placed Post hand outs or powerpoints ahead of time - ask for questions or comments Ask people to share key questions they hope you will cover Use workshop as a way to get input on a resource you are working on: FAQs, white paper, resource guide, etc. Utilize STEP Central during the workshop! Post document on STEP Central for further comments/feedback Use STEP Central to continue dialog and engagement on projects and ideas hatched at the meeting!

The session will be held on March 5 th, from 6:30- 8:30pm at the Mariott Wardman Hotel. Registration is SEPARATE from the meeting registration, and available on the STEP 2014 meeting pages.
