2 Mine Rescue Statement 2015 A Welcome to the New View Mine. We have encountered a problem and your assistance is needed. An examiner was making our developing main west entries. He was traveling inby in the #1 entry when he encountered smoke. He withdrew and contacted management. We have evacuated the mine and all people are accounted for except for the three people working in the main west developing panel. The map is not up to date. There is a 6’ airshaft in the #3 entry. This shaft is under construction and cannot be used at the present time. The fan is a blowing system and is off at the present time. The fan may be started but once started it cannot be shut off. The fan cannot be reversed or stalled. All agencies have been notified and a back up mine rescue team is available. All workings out by A crosscut have been explored. Where safe to do so.

3 Mine Rescue Problem 2015 A Skills Problem Make the mine in its entirety, where safe to do so. Account for all missing person, and bring all life persons to the Fresh air base. There will be a 60 minute time limit.
