Campus visit procedure on the College and Career Center Page (All seniors 10/14 Or the Option to take a Career Exploration Assessment - ASVAB) College App Week September 28 th – Oct 2 nd (preferred time to submit Brag Sheet, and goal of applying to one college by this week.) PARENT INPUT IS WELCOME October test scores can usually meet application deadlines We are strongly encouraging students to send scores DIRECTLY from the Testing Agency College Fair – 9/29 daytime and evening at HVA at 6:30pm TN Promise scholarship deadline – Nov. 2, 2015 UT deadline – we need transcript & letter of rec requests before FALL BREAK!

Time Spent Taking TNReady The total testing time during the 2015-16 school year will be similar to the total testing time last year The TNReady test in Math, Social Studies and English language arts will be given in two parts approximately 4 weeks apart.

Scheduling TNReady Online testing for both TNReady and the new social studies assessment means districts have more flexibility than ever before to decide when students take the test This does not mean your child will spend more time taking tests It just means districts have more flexibility to determine the actual dates for schools to administer the test

Pareto Analysis The chart provides information on the areas where you have opportunity for growth The horizontal axis lists content areas (strands) in the assessment The vertical axis notes the percentage improvement you can make. The highest bar is listed first and this denotes the area where you have the greatest room for growth You should start with improving the area listed on the left and move from left to right to maximize improvement
