2 History 1994 - 1997: DoD Automatic Test Systems (ATS) Executive Agent addressed Test and Diagnostics issues Late 1997: DoD ATS EA realized industry was in better position to provide solutions

3 History (Con’t) Early 1998 DoD met with industry representatives to discuss establishment of a consortium August 1998 TDC concept presented at IEEE Automatic Test Conference by TDC Development Team

4 History (Con’t) Mid 1998 to Early 1999 TDC Development Team held several meetings to address organization, activities, membership, etc. April 1999 TDC Development Team welcomes industry to TDC Organizing Meeting to discuss issues identified by Development Team

13 Status of membership Current membership is 32 companies Changed membership categories to two types: User and Supplier Renewal letters will be mailed in October for January payment Membership drive AUTOTESTCON 2000

14 Future Activities Membership Drive –concentration on USERS –solicit different industries Definition of an Initiative for TDC to address in the coming year Consider TDC’s role in NxTest architecture Next meeting in early December
