3  The next 2-3 slides should contain the information of your scientist’s contribution to the atomic theory. ◦ Major contributions to the atomic theory ◦ Approximate date of their contribution ◦ If they followed the scientific method ◦ Was the theory tested and published? ◦ Was valid experimentation done to supply usable data to support the theory ◦ Was the theory accepted? ◦ Is the theory still applicable by today’s standards? ◦ If not, what is no longer accepted concerning the theory?  You should include a picture of the scientist’s model or experimental apparatus used.  If there is no model or experimental apparatus, photographs should be used to represent the scientist’s findings.

4  Explain how the contribution of your scientist was important in the developing the atomic theory that is accepted today.  If the scientist’s theory was later proven to be false: ◦ Explain why the theory was originally accepted ◦ Explain how the theory hindered the developed of the atomic theory
