The next 2-3 slides should contain the information of your scientist’s contribution to the atomic theory. ◦ Major contributions to the atomic theory ◦ Approximate date of their contribution ◦ If they followed the scientific method ◦ Was the theory tested and published? ◦ Was valid experimentation done to supply usable data to support the theory ◦ Was the theory accepted? ◦ Is the theory still applicable by today’s standards? ◦ If not, what is no longer accepted concerning the theory? You should include a picture of the scientist’s model or experimental apparatus used. If there is no model or experimental apparatus, photographs should be used to represent the scientist’s findings.

Explain how the contribution of your scientist was important in the developing the atomic theory that is accepted today. If the scientist’s theory was later proven to be false: ◦ Explain why the theory was originally accepted ◦ Explain how the theory hindered the developed of the atomic theory
