3. Burning Man is… An event: happens once per year in Black Rock Desert of America. A community: people stay a week, they build artwork, play games, organize performance. An Art activity: although not all people make art, art pieces are still the core element. An anti-commodification movement: artworks will not be sold but finally burned.
