What are windturbines for? Wind turbines are large mills who catch the blowing wind. They are placed in areas near sea or places where there is to be expected a lot of wind. Wind turbines can convert wind into energy. Energy that is usefull for people. Worldwide there are a lot of ways to produce enregy. Some examples are: Atomic energy, water-energy. Some of those productions of energy are very polutioning. But the production of wind energy is very polution friendly, so a conclusion is that the production of wind energy helps with the environmental protction of our earth.

Wind Energie Advantages It helps clean up the environment It’s reducing your monthly electric bill It provide power to your home during blackouts It can keep a portion of electricity when the power company goes down.

Wind Energy disadvantage Your’re property must be at least ½ an acre You’re home owners association or city/county restrict towers The average wind speed must be in the area exceeds 9 mph.
