Challenges Diverse population of 32,000+, including online learners Sprawling estate Information overload (email) and duplication Coordination – 3 Colleges, 22 Schools, multiple student facing services Keeping colleagues informed and up-to-date

Our approach Relationship building and effective staff communications = VITAL Joined up approach… –Working closely with Induction, Marketing, and Development & Alumni –To create consistency throughout entire student journey Regular market research Creating and supporting sense of community and belonging

Future plans Develop our staff Student Communications Network Further development of social media channels Newsletter – more student involvement Create more resources for colleagues –E.g toolkits/templates, best practice examples, guidelines –Student communications drop in sessions
