4 4 Mrs. Kinsella’s Background Bachelor of Arts: University of California, San Diego Masters Degree in Education: also from UCSD. Taught for 5 years in San Jose, California Taught in Northshore School District for 3 years. National Board of Professional Teaching Standards Candidate Moved to Issaquah School District to work closer to home. Excited to be part of the CR community for my second year!

5 5 Mrs. Lyons’ Background Bachelors of Science from University of Louisville Dental School Masters in Teaching from Seattle University Taught 3 rd grade for 7 years at Cougar Ridge before taking leave to live overseas with my family. Taught as a relief teacher in Australia. 2012 to 2013 taught in the Science/Technology Program Returned to Cougar Ridge in 2013. Excited to team teach with Mrs. Kinsella! Leisure Time – cycle, swim, hike, spend time with my family and volunteer as an ambassador for The Cycle The W.A.V.E. Foundation.

Nightly homework (30 minutes or less) Monday: Writing Tuesday: Math Wednesday: Reading (may be online later this year) Thursday: Math IXL (online) Friday: No homework (Kidmail goes home) Read at least 20 minutes daily: Just Right Books Return take-home folders daily Book talks Online passwords can be found on students’ homework folders.
