2.  Purpose: to learn a new program while learning a General Geology concept.  I was assigned the Bowen’s Reaction Series and decided to use the Adobe Illustrator program.

3.  Internet  Adobe Illustrator - program used for the poster  Adobe Photoshop -program used to crop photos to place into Illustrator

5. ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR  Select color and fonts  Color gradient  Reflection  Pen tool Copy and re-size arrows

6. ADOBE PHOTOSHOP  Selection tool Magnetic lasso- outlines and produces and easier way to select an object. Picks up contrast colors Put the picture in a new Photoshop file, save and place into Illustrator. This makes the background transparent so that the object blends with the background of the poster.
