He had 5 slightly different experiments, each of which he ran 20 times. His results are shown in these box plots, also called ‘box and whisker’ plots. The horizontal axis shows the speeds he measured, in km/s, after 299 000 has been subtracted. So a value of 800 actually means 299 800 km/s. Q4
