Higher Education Veterans Programs A program of the MN Department of Veterans Affairs created by MN Legislature in 2006 to assist colleges and universities to:  Develop veterans friendly policies and procedures  Coordinate on and off campus veterans services and information  Create campus veterans resource centers

3. Campus Veterans Resource Centers Mission: To provide veterans and military family members with a single point of contact on campus for information and assistance regarding benefits and resources available to meet the unique Higher Education challenges they face.

4. HEVP Today To date: 12 Regional Coordinators are in the field working with campuses 53 campus veterans resource centers have been created from Aug 06 to Dec 07 In 2007 More than 3500 people have been served by these centers

6. HEVP Call Center and Website Partnership between MN Department of Veterans Affairs and Minnesota Online, created MyMilitaryEducation.org to better serve the needs of Veterans and their families.
