The Successes Positive attitudes 1 st Place @ Panther Invitational: Girls 2 nd Place @ MVC League Championship: Girls 62% of students who signed-up finished the season We “won one for the Gibber!”

The Failures 38% of students who signed-up failed to complete the season We had very low numbers of boys choose to join

This Person… Completed their first year Was a constant presence at practice Competed in high jump, hurdles, and relays Tim Lilly Was the only person to declare to me that “I’m a sprinter!” when asked to run a longer distance Was constant and disciplined starter on relays DeAsha Williams

1 st Annual Intra-Squad Championship Each team member competes in an all- around track and field skill and ability competition at practice. –Participants gain points for competing and doing well 10, 8, 6, 4, 3, 2 Individual champions are noted in an area of specialization Points are added up and girl and boy champions from both 7 th and 8 th grades are calculated to crown the champions
