3 Sector Overall Objective Expresses how the sector response will meet the needs arising from the Syrian crisis while mitigating the impact on the affected population Use a positive verb in the infinitive To ensure To provide To build To increase To ensure quality inclusive education for Syrian refugee children and Jordanian children living in communities affected by the Syrian crisis – through formal, non-formal and informal opportunities.

4 Sector Specific Objectives Describes positive change in relation to the population in need or the concerned national or local institution Increased capacity of educational facilities in communities affected by the crisis to ensure the continuous delivery of quality education services Improved equitable access to comprehensive primary health care for Syrian refugee women, girls, boys and men in Jordan by end of 2014 Use a noun qualified by a verb expressed in the past tense Strengthened capacity Improved access Improved equitable access to Increased coverage

5 Projects & Outputs Projects The interventions used to achieve the sector specific objectives Project Objective Describes the expected results from a project To expand primary school capacity to accommodate increased demand as a result of Syrian refugee inflow in [X geographical area] Outputs Outputs are the products and services delivered to achieve the Project Objective, e.g. – Prefabricated classrooms & facilities installed
