The catalogue as an online service An interface that would: Define new ways for libraries and their communities to interact with one another Combine the unique strengths of people (empathy and handling exceptions), and; technology (rote tasks, processing information) The social catalogue would: “know” why users want something define ways for users to help each other to find information they need
