What is HealthWatch? A new service, set up by the Government Starting on 2 nd April 2013 Replacing Local Involvement Networks, or LINKs Nationally, HealthWatch England Plus each local authority area has a local HealthWatch 2

HealthWatch York Your Local HealthWatch. We will; help people share their views and concerns about health & social care in York provide information and signposting signpost people to independent complaints advocacy 3

What will happen to LINks HealthWatch York will take on much of their work, such as; promoting patient and public involvement seeking peoples’ views on services having the right to enter and view services commenting on changes to local services 4

Our model HealthWatch York will put the public and patients at the heart of the partnerships that make services happen be a membership organisation create networks of experts 5
