2 Bells Done to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Rung for an hour before midnight on Christmas Eve. Rung to drive off evil spirits.

3 Nativity Scene Francis of Assisi instituted the custom of the nativity scene. Nativity scenes have become popular throughout the christian world. The nativity scene has been used to tell the Christmas story for centuries. The crib represents the manger that baby Jesus was laid in after his birth.

4 Christmas Rose The Christmas Rose was grown in England. There is a legend of 3 wise men.

5 Poinsettia A mexican girl had nothing to give to Mary, so she picked some weeds that miraculously turned into beautiful, bright red flowers.

6 Wreath * The red ribbons which is done to express the festive spirit. * The evergreen bows were believed to protect a home from evil spirits.
