What Are Japanese Arrangements?
One type of Japanese flower arrangements is ikebana. Ikebana makes you use whatever is around you to make a flower arrangement. Ikebana often includes other areas of the plant, such as its stems, leaves and focuses on its shape, size and form.

Spiritual views The person who dose ikebana often becomes more patient and tolerant of differences in nature and also in general. Ikebana provides relaxation to the body and mind.

History Of Ikebana Ikebana can be traced back to the 6th century when Buddhism was introduced to Japan. Ikebana evolved from the Buddhist ritual of offering flowers to spirits of the dead.

The patterns and styles have evolved so that by the late 15th century arrangements were more common and were known by normal people . Ikebana was very simple and was made by only a few stems of flowers and evergreen Branches. This first form of Ikebana was called Kuge. Evolution Of Styles

Ikebana is still one of the most distinctive arts in the Japanese Culture. In Japan it is shown on television taught in schools and admired daily.
