In today’s global world, language prejudice and discrimination have become a major phenomenon. According to science experts, English language has over the past years been highly prejudiced which prompts the quest for acceptable English speaking world. It is inevitable to note that some individuals mindsets feel insecure towards English Language.

Three factors that might reduce. Intergroup contact Prejudice can be reduced by increasing direct contact between two groups who are prejudiced against each other. Cognitive interventions If people are aware of the harmful effects of prejudice, they are then in a position to do something about it. This involves changing the way in which someone thinks about prejudice.

Does becoming involved in another group's culture reduce prejudice in the real world? Guilt for having learned information is not really appropriate. It would have been difficult or nearly impossible to avoid learning this information. You probably learned it before you were able to think about the information critically.
