“Some one stole my Property!” Do people have the same rights with virtual property as they do with tangible property in reality?

What is Property? To Webster it’s: a quality or trait belonging and especially peculiar to an individual or thing. To Wikipedia it’s: any physical or “virtual” entity that is owned by an individual. Yet still to others it means more or less, it ranges drastically from individual to individual. The U.S. Constitution says nothing of what property is, just that no one can be deprived of it. So what is Property this has always been one of the most confusing questions through time

Yours, Mine, and Ours Property and ones rights to it has always been a touchy subject through out history.  Land  Money  Horses  Cattle

Digital age Question  Do I have the right to this “virtual” Property?  Some think not  You don't really own your character; the game company does  Some think so  My WoW bank and characters are very real to me for several hours most days. Comments

What makes it someone’s Property  Time and Effort  Emotional Value  Belief in the value of the object  Payment to the MMO game owners

Ownership  Nothing is Free  It belongs to some one

Discussion Questions  Do People have the same rights with virtual Property as they do with actual tangible Property? Why?  Do you have virtual property that you value more then a similar tangible Property?  Who owns virtual items/ characters?  What does it mean to own virtual Property?
