3 Quadratic Formula I will give you the formula, no need to memorize it. However, certain exams, ISAT, PSAT, SAT, ACT might require you have it memorized. Other teachers in the building might require you to memorize it. Keep that in mind.

4 Step-by-Step Instructions Step 1)Standard Form – The equation must be in standard form. Step 2)Identify a, b, and c – be careful about signs. Step 3)Substitute – use parentheses – do not mix with step 4. Step 4)Evaluate – be careful about negatives and squaring and multiplying negatives. Step 5)Simplify
