2 2.3.1 Finalize the mainstreaming guidelines for HIV/AIDS in the PEAP, sectoral plans and local government plans some sectors have guidelines on mainstreaming HIV/AIDS mainstreaming HIV/AIDS has been on table for about 6 years now, so we need more action with outputs Additional means of verification is “Development plans and budgets” Responsible actors: UAC, MoFPED, UNDP, WB, LGs

3 3.3.2 Conduct a study on impact of HIV/AIDS in every sector and on relationship between HIV/AIDS and poverty 3 priority sectors selected for study: Health, Education, Agriculture Verifiable indicator: A list of HIV/AIDS impact concerns in the selected sectors Actors: UAC, UBOS and the selected sectors

4 3.3.3. Carry out a sector spending assessment Verifiable indicator: Resource (funds) tracking inventory Means of verification: Resource tracking report Actors: UAC, MoFPED, ADP (UNDP)

5 Cross cutting suggestions/recommendation Indicate the various steps in each priority action Articulate Human Resource challenges under each output for effectiveness Make a human development plan to support sustainability of the programme Mainstream workplace HIV/AIDS policy in each sector development plan and popularize its need to the informal sector Strengthen a central depository of HIV/AIDS documents Review progress of the Annual Priority Action Plan every (monthly) partnership committee meeting UAC should nominate a staff as focal person for the follow up of the annual PAP
