Cells Monarch butterflies blood cells, skin cells, brain cells, nerve cells, and muscle cells.

Reproduction The monarch butterfly lays eggs on the under side of the milk weed leaf.

Inherit traits They inherit traits as in number of spots, color, size, and how they develop.

Grow and develop They are larva for two weeks then they become caterpillars that are two inches long. Then to a pupa or a chrysalis. Then to a butterfly.

food Milkweed They eat milkweed.

Respond to the Environment They migrate north about 1,200-2,800 miles. During that time period they use Mimicry to keep them selves safe

cells and bodies They have compound eyes, palps, antennae, forewing, tail, head, thorax, abdomen, tarsi, tibia, femur, hindwing, proboscis, foreleg, midleg, hindleg.
