6  Product design in Y8 focuses on the very current issue of sustainability in design  Pupils design and make a clock to remind us that time is running out regarding the use of fossil fuels and for reducing global warming  A range of new materials and equipment are used  Computer controlled manufacturing takes place based on pupils own computer aided designs  Y9 will introduce robotics to pupils Y8 Product Design Spalding High School Excellence
