HOLDS GREAT SIGNIFICANCE FOR LANGUAGE LEARNING AND CAN DEVELOP STUDY SKILLS. THE IMPORTANCE OF STUDY SKILLS : PLACING TEACHERS AS A ROLE OF A TRANSMITTER OF KNOWLEDGE AND STUDENTS AS PASSIVE RECIPIENTS IS A TRADITIONAL TEACHING METHOD. FOCUS ON LEARNER AUTONOMY, INVOLVEMENT, GENERATED SYLLABI AND CREATION OF RELAXED ATMOSPHERE OF LEARNING ARE THE CURRENT TREND IN THE FIELD OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING. THE CONCEPT OF THE INDIVIDUALIZED INSTRUCTION IS INCREASINGLY GAINING ATTENTION.

Teachers can customize any CALL program to the syllabus or course design that they are using to increase the level of proficiency in students. Computers are useful for in-group activities and imparting individualized instruction. There are no limitations with regards of practice sessions or time.

5. ADVANTAGES The immediate feedback given by the computer helps the students to analyse patterns in the language. The novelty is the integral part of the call programs increase the level of motivation. Helping learn a foreign language or any second language also provide some computer literacy.
