Inspirations from Art 9 th Lit Honors ELACCL9-10W10: Write routinely over … shorter time frames (a single sitting or a day or two) for a range of tasks, purposes, and audiences.

Many poets are inspired by the beauty of what they see. In fact, sometimes art is considered visual poetry. As you look at the art in the following slides, you will accomplish a variety of tasks inspired by these visuals.

Compose a title for a poem inspired by this art. Incorporate one vocabulary word. Use alliteration.

Imagine that you are the speaker of a poem inspired by this incident. Write the first three lines of your poem. Incorporate one vocabulary word and internal rhyme.
