7 PLC FOR LMS 1.A school librarian PLC might facilitate the sharing of resources and strategies that could help increase student achievement throughout the district. 2.The LMS should be an active participant in any PLCs in their own building by making sure they know how to effectively use tools to enhance their efforts.

14 CONSIDERATIONS Think of bigger picture… Descriptive file names Avoid redundancy (only one folder per topic is necessary) Don’t tamper with files and folders put there by others Alert the group when you’ve added new content

17 Post a Message Send a message to a group, or post direct messages to specific students or teacher connections Select to post a note, alert, assignment, quiz or poll Embed videos, attach files, link to websites or point to documents from your Edmodo Library collection Post message immediately or send out at a scheduled time.

You can be part of the district LMS PLC and/or part of PLCs in your school building. You can introduce your staff to Edmodo as a tool that can enhance the efforts of PLCs.
