4. Awards Name Provost’s Award for Excellence in Scholarly and Creative Activities. Provost’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. Provost’s Award for Excellence in Service.

5. Process Nomination by anybody Award Committee (one faculty from each college + one from related area + AVP Research and Graduate Studies/ AVP Undergraduate Studies as Voting Ex Officio will review and recommend to Provost Provost announces the recipient to campus community and presents the award at commencement ceremony

6. Awards Cash stipend A Plaque Inscription of the recipient’s name on a permanent plaque in the University Library. Posting of the award recipient’s name and biography on a permanent website maintained by the Division of Academic Affairs. Placement of a letter noting the award in the recipient’s Personnel Action File.

7. Recommendations Senate approves the policy for the three awards On recommendation of Provost, the EC issues a new referral for two additional awards in Teachers Preparation and Technology and innovation in classroom.
