5 DAY 1: GROUP FORMATION  5 MEMBERS TO EACH GROUP.  EACH MEMBER WILL HAVE A SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENT AND ROLE.  THE GROUP WILL DESIGN AND BUILD THEIR “MERCADO”.  TURN IN GROUP ASSIGNMENT SHEET

6 DAY 2: OUTLINE OF PROJECT  GATHER INFORMATION  DESIGN STANDS (PUESTO)  DETERMINE 10 FOOD ITEMS FOR EACH STAND  TURN IN OUTLINE

7 DAY 3: FLYER AND SALES PITCH  STANDS DRAWN  FOODS PLACED AND WRITTEN IN SPANISH  FLYER DRAWN AND PRINTED  SALES PITCHES ARE WRITTEN  TURN IN FLYER AND SALES PITCH

8 DAY 4: BUILD AND PRACTICE  EL MERCADO IS BUILT AND LABELED  EACH GROUP PRACTICES ITS SALES PITCH  TEACHER LISTENS TO EACH GROUP

9 DAY 5: PRESENTATIONS  EACH GROUP GIVES ITS PRESENTATION
