What spiritual disciplines do you practice in your own soul care? How does the condition of your soul impact how you lead a team or are a part of a team? Your walk with the Lord will speak the loudest and be your greatest source of ministry to your team.

Be authentic with them – speak the truth and be real with them Encourage them and give them feedback Celebrate with them their victories Walk alongside their challenges and lead them to the equipping and resourcing they may need – let the Holy Spirit guide you!

Healthy Leaders! - we will look over a worksheet on Emotional Intelligence (EQ) Right People! – teams are made up of the right people coming together to accomplish the mission of the team. Missional Clarity! – a healthy team will have unity around a clear vision, purpose and strategy – you are on the same page. Healthy Environment! – there is trust and cooperation even when there is disagreement or conflict. Which of these characterize your team and where do you need to become stronger and healthier?

6. The Call to Prayer in Caring for Team When you think of examples of leaders who prayed for their “team” in the Bible, who comes to your mind? What can we learn from them? What is your current practice of prayer for your team or with your team? What are some ways we can grow in and strengthen this vital ministry to our teams?
