3. Equation The equation to my problem is… y= 11.00x or J(x)=11.00x y=The total cost of the tickets and popcorn X= The number of people

4. X= independent, y=dependent The independent variable is x which is the number of people. The dependent variable is y which is the total cost of the tickets and popcorn. We know y depends on x So the total cost depends on the number of people.

5. Is This a Function? & Why? yes, because the x’s do not repeat.

6. Domain & Range! The domain of a relationship is the set of permissible x values. Domains can be continuous or discrete. The range of the relationship is the set of permissible y values. My domains are [1,2,3,4] & My ranges are [11.00, 22.00, 33.00, 44.00]

7. Continuous Or Discrete Discrete. Why? Because there are number between 11.00- 44.00!
