3 Springer Open Choice Pilot Springer’s Open Choice: A publication becomes Open Access, when the author pays $ 3.000 UKB License with Springer: € 2.000.000 All Dutch universities in 2007: 1.162 publications Pilot 2007-2009 For 1.250 publications Open Choice is ‘free’ Each publication > 1.250: $ 1.500
