3. Still Life Assessment Draw the objects as you see them. Do not re-arrange them. Try your best to represent the object’s size, shape, texture, value and three-dimensional quality. 6. Blind Contour/Blind Drawing Part 1: Drawing through your senses. Place your hand into the paper bag, feel the object in the bag. As you feel the object, draw it. You can also draw from memory. Part 2: Take object out of the bag, place it on the table and draw it using a blind contour drawing technique. Keep your pencil on the paper, do not lift it, draw using one continuous line. Keep your eyes on the object and don’t look down at your paper! Drawing observationally begins with LOOKING!
