The Activity Six student volunteers will role play a skit about warm and cold fronts. There will be two teams of characters, a warm front team and a cold front team, that are about to meet for a matchup in the sky.

Gather the Materials Copy of Weather Skit Character Symbols Printed copy of Weather Script (optional) Umbrella Two Thermometers Winter Hat

Prep the Materials 1. Cut out the character symbols and assign them to six students. The warm front team will be composed of boys and the cold front team will be composed of girls. 2. Give the umbrella to the Rain Shower Dude. 3. Give the thermometers to the Cold Temperature Guy and the Warm Temperature Girl. 4. Give the winter hat to the Cold Temperature Girl. 5. Print a copy of the script for each actor or actress (optional).
