Culture for Change Goals Youth Development: youth voice, self expression, self- discovery, leadership Artistic Expression: High standard of artistic quality Social Change: Citizens who able to understand and stand-up for what they believe Overall goal Development of confident and tolerant young citizens able to stand-up for what they believe, and express themselves in a variety of media

Assumptions Improvement of teaching and mentoring skills Enhancement and reinforcement of OST programs Youth find their own voices and become empowered and engaged in their communities Youth express themselves creatively with age appropriate activities Youth experience in-depth and varied artistic opportunities Youth create art that reflects upon real issues in the city, country, and world Teams utilize skills and collaborative opportunities to explore/promote social change concepts
