Between 100,000 and 300,000 children are at risk for sexual exploitation in the U.S., with an average age of 11 to 14 years old. Source: U.S. Department of Justice, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children As many as 2.8 million children run away each year in the U.S. Within 48 hours of running away, one third of these children are lured or recruited by traffickers.
