CENTRAL ASIAN REGIONAL MIGRATION PROGRAM (CARM) 2010 - 2013 GOAL:To contribute to poverty reduction in Central Asia through the improved livelihoods of migrant men and women PURPOSE: To protect the rights and enhance the social and economic opportunities of migrant men, women and their families

CENTRAL ASIAN REGIONAL MIGRATION PROGRAM (CARM) 2010 - 2013 How we do it? Output 1: Support for the consistent collection of and sharing of gender disaggregated data; analytical support and policy advice; strengthening legal base and capacity building for migration officials Output 2: In close cooperation with EURASEC organization of a regional platform for high level dialogue on migration, expert advice, assistance in development and effective implementation of bilateral agreements on labour migration Output 3: Establishing and assistance to Migrants’ Support Centres; Information Campaign; strengthening coordination of migrants’s assistance mechanism; Output 4: (implemented in countries of origin: Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan): community work; assistance to self help groups; community level networking Output 5: (implemented in destination countries: Kazakhstan and Russia): facilitation of partnership of state authorities and civil society at municipal level; media campaigns;
