4. Training Site Update There is an issue with the green header in the Training database is still gray some of the time Site will be refreshed some time this summer If you are planning any training sessions this summer, please let help desk know.

5. Individual Immunization Record Will be available in Production within the next 3 weeks Manitoba Health will be replacing the Immunization Certificate with this record in the future. Reminder letters will be sent out by MB Health Adhoc Immunization records will be provided by PH/Community Area Offices There will be a QRC for this report when it is available

6. New QRC QRC 5.2 Mass Imms Event Report Will be on website next week Demo Mass Imms event 1241

9. QRC Update Need to document Public Health Unit org when recording individual immunizations – for reporting Purposes (unit specific reports) – to increase ability to follow-up (AEFI, product recalls) Affects the following QRCs: – QRC 2.2 Recording Non Provider Recorded Immunizations – QRC 2.3 Recording Provider Recorded Immunizations – QRC 2.4 Recording Immunizations for Vaccine Not in Inventory

14. QRC Update (Continued) Defect: Applying 0.25ml dose in Mass via Mass Imms Worksheet dose change is not maintained if any of the clients on the worksheet have a status of “not forecasted” Affects the following QRCs (Points to Remember) : -QRC 3.13 Recording Non Provider Recorded Immunizations from a Worksheet -QRC 3.14 Recording Provider Recorded Immunizations from a Worksheet

17. Defect: Changing the Date of Mass Imms Event When you change a mass imms event date the updated “new” date for the mass event does not change in all locations This has been identified as a defect and has been logged

Example: If I create an event on July 1 st ( Mass event ID#1259 ) and then change the date to July 3 the following happens: Mass Imms Event search page – Search by event ID presents July 1 – Search by who created – presents July 1 – Search by who created and date – presents correct date – Search by corrected date – factory table presents event with correct date All other locations the event date presents July 3

19. Create Client function Users SHOULD NOT Create New Clients in Panorama If users have a client that they think needs to be created, ask them to submit this request to a CD coordinator or designate We are working on providing guidelines for when it is appropriate to create a client

20. Clinical Advice: Quadracel vs Adacel Polio Our auditors are seeing a frequent clinical error where Adacel-Polio is being given as part of primary series as a substitute for Quadracel See: http://www.gov.mb.ca/health/publichealth/cdc/docs /hcp/2012/120418.pdf http://www.gov.mb.ca/health/publichealth/cdc/docs /hcp/2012/120418.pdf The primary series will now be completed using Pediacel for the first 4 doses and the Adacel-Polio to be used for the booster dose, if required

22. Documenting Renal Dose of Hep B Document as 1 immunization. Change the dose in the immunization details Record Site: Other Document the sites in the comments section. Apply same to other multi-site doses

23. Panorama System Updates Communique – In development and should be out shortly Will be sent out to all users and posted to the Panorama website

24. Setting User Defaults Update We developed a “Setting your Panorama User Defaults” PP Presentation for trainers to use to communicate with their users Presentation of slide deck immediately after this meeting

25. Round Table Interlake-Eastern All sites are live and all users using single imms!! (52 users) Positive feedback Questions – Plans for using Mass Imms for Flu in fall? WRHA – will be doing delayed entry NHR – possibly some direct entry depending on connectivity SH-SS – looking to try 1 direct entry flu clinic staffed with trained PHNs PMH – delayed entry with clerical doing the entry – Smaller office clinics may try direct entry – Casuals will not be trained for Fall 2015 – Delayed entry for mass imms – by nurses or clerks? WRHA – nurses SH-SS - clerical

26. Round Table Southern Health – Sante Sud – 100% deployed!! (77 users) – Mostly positive feedback – Sustainability planning is starting (note: MB Health and eHealth are starting this planning as well) – Identified issue: dealing with connectivity issues with limited regional IT resources – At this point, casuals will not be trained

27. Round Table Prairie Mountain Health – 100% deployed!
