5.  Texas has an average of 2.59% of teen pregnancies ◦ Lubbock County has a 3.3% average  U.S.A has an average of 12% pregnancies ◦ adolescents aged 15-19

6.  The Lubbock Independent School District currently has no sex education program in place  Some information about sex is mentioned in health classes ◦ in a abstinence-only-until-marriage approach  These classes fail to mention other information such as safe sex
