Fund-Raising Formula 1.Worthy Cause (Case Statement) In no more than two pages tell your story, why you need private support. Know your mission Elevator speech Must be about students & teachers Focus on community

Mission The Texas City ISD Foundation for the Future has been established to support the educational programs for both students and staff of the Texas City Independent School District.

Fund-raising Formula 3. Inform & Involve People don’t support unless they understand Tell them. Put in writing. Show them. Newsletters, activities, events Often done best one on one

Fund-Raising Formula 4.Commitment & Collection Do you like the idea of (list special projects)? Give examples of what others have done They ask, “What can I do to help? Then they are ready!
